Refund Policy
CyberCat VPN refunds are self-service from your account dashboard. This page explains who qualifies, what you receive, and how the process works.
This policy is in addition to your 14-day legal right of withdrawal in section 5 of our Terms. That right is separate from the limits below, and you can still use it by email.
Eligibility
A refund is available from your dashboard when all of the following are true:
- Your account has received fewer than two refunds. A refund from the dashboard and a refund we issue through our payment provider both count. A chargeback does not.
- The charge is still inside its window:
- First subscription: 30 days from the original purchase. An upgrade does not restart this window. A refund here returns every charge paid during those 30 days, including upgrades and a renewal that falls inside the window.
- Renewal: 14 days from the time that renewal charge was paid. This covers every automatic renewal, including renewals of a subscription you bought after a gap. A refund here returns that renewal charge only.
- Your subscription is active, trialing, or past due. Turning off renewal does not close the window.
A new checkout after you cancel, or after a subscription expires, is not refundable. Later automatic renewals of that subscription follow the 14-day rule.
An upgrade during an open 14-day renewal window closes the refund for that period. Upgrade charges after the first 30 days are not refundable.
What you get
An eligible refund returns the charges described above in full, including taxes. There is no partial or pro-rata amount.
One confirmed request counts as one of the two refunds, even when it returns more than one charge from the 30-day window.
How to request a refund
When you are eligible, the subscription card shows Request a Refund, how many days are left, and how many refunds are left. Cancel is separate: it keeps access until the end of the period you have paid for and does not use a refund.
If the button is not there, the account does not meet the rules above. The card does not say which rule failed. Contact support if you believe that is a mistake.
Processing
After you confirm, we send the refund to your payment provider and cancel the subscription immediately. Funds usually appear on the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Cryptocurrency refunds are not supported.
After a refund
Access to CyberCat VPN ends when the refund is processed, not at the end of the billing period. You can subscribe again. That new purchase is not refundable. Its later renewal charges can be refunded within 14 days of each charge, until the account has received two refunds.
Exceptions
This policy does not refund:
- A new purchase after a cancel or expiry.
- Upgrade charges after the first 30 days.
- A renewal charge after you upgrade during that renewal's 14-day window.
- A third refund, once the account has received two.
- A first subscription after 30 days, or a renewal charge after 14 days.
- Gift-code and redemption-code subscriptions.
- Subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store or another app store. Those stores handle their own refunds.
- Cryptocurrency payments.
- Accounts that violate our Terms of Service.
